Jared R. Vermillion’s practice primarily focuses on advising corporate clients through mergers & acquisitions, ownership transitions, as well as other commercial and business matters.
Jared counsels client businesses and their owners on many forms of exit event transactions, whether that includes an arm’s length merger or third-party acquisition or the strategic planning around internal ownership transitions. Jared has experience representing clients across all phases of a company life-cycle, from the formation of new startups and emerging companies, advising on raising capital through both debt and equity investment financings, commercial transactions, regulatory compliance, corporate governance, all the way through an exit event, while always keeping the business goals at the forefront.
A Washington native, Jared joined Carney Badley Spellman in 2021 and has experience advising companies across a diverse breadth of industries including SaaS (software-as-a-service) and related technology services, highly regulated industries such as I-502 cannabis businesses, and complex private equity and venture capital transactions. In his free time, Jared enjoys playing a good board game, finding new local breweries, and you can typically find him attending most Sounders FC home games.
