Madison D. Kelly is a litigation attorney at Carney Badley Spellman, where her practice focuses on general, complex civil litigation. She represents clients in a variety of complex civil matters, including disputes involving property development, breach of contract issues, commercial litigation, unfair business practices, and construction defects.
Madison brings a strong litigation background to her work, with prior experience defending clients in medical malpractice, premises liability, insurance defense, and tribal law. Former representative clients include Swedish Health Services, MultiCare Health System, City of Seattle, and various other local municipalities and counties. She has drafted and argued motions, conducted legal research and discovery, led depositions and discovery practice, and supported clients through all stages of litigation. Her collaborative approach and attention to detail make her a strong advocate in resolving disputes both in and out of court.
A passionate advocate for tribal justice, Madison is admitted to the Tulalip Tribal Court and previously served as a student attorney in the UW Law Tribal Court Clinic, representing families before the Muckleshoot Tribal Court. She continues to be actively involved in tribal legal issues.
Originally from Kent, Washington, Madison now lives in Seattle with strong ties to her alma mater in Fort Collins, Colorado. She is a self-proclaimed outdoor enthusiast and dog lover who, outside of work, enjoys puzzling, traveling, and exploring the Pacific Northwest with her friends, family, and four-legged loved ones.
