Carney Badley Spellman Elects Isaac Prevost as Shareholder

Posted:

SEATTLE, Wash. – Carney Badley Spellman, PS has elected Isaac Prevost as a Shareholder, effective July 1, 2026. Prevost is an appellate advocate and commercial litigator. His practice spans complex business and regulatory disputes, demanding both precision on the page and confidence in the courtroom.

“Isaac has grown into a trusted voice for his clients and a valued member of Carney. This is a well-earned milestone.” – Patrick Lamb, President and Managing Shareholder

Prevost represents clients in high-stakes appeals, where he is recognized for persuasive briefing and effective oral advocacy. He frequently serves as embedded appellate counsel at the trial level, shaping legal arguments through motions in limine, jury instructions, and post-trial briefing before a case ever reaches an appellate court.

His recent accomplishments include securing a unanimous Washington Supreme Court decision reversing the approval of election recall charges against a county official, obtaining discretionary appellate review protecting attorney-client privileged documents, and serving as special deputy prosecutor for a municipal entity on appeal.

Prevost also advises clients in regulatory proceedings and government investigations, appearing regularly before the Washington State Office of Administrative Hearings and the Washington State Office of the Insurance Commissioner. And he counsels his clients on regulatory and compliance obligations.

Before joining Carney Badley Spellman, Prevost served as a legislative assistant with the Washington House of Representatives, which informs his understanding and approach to administrative and regulatory matters.
