We’re excited to share that Rory Cosgrove has been named the President of the Washington Defense Trial Lawyers (WDTL). Rory’s leadership reflects not only his experience in the courtroom but also his long-standing dedication to Washington’s civil-defense community.
A true appellate advocate at heart, Rory has argued before the Ninth Circuit and all three divisions of the Washington Court of Appeals, serving as counsel of record in countless appeals. He regularly serves as embedded-appellate counsel, collaborating with trial teams to draft and argue jury instructions, prepare and argue dispositive motions, and preserve issues for appeal. His clients value his responsiveness, candor, and sharp strategic eye.
