Carney Cares:Â Acts of Random Kindness Bagging Event
On March 22, 2023, the employees of Carney Badley Spellman (#carneybadley) participated in an event discussing the increasing homeless crisis in King County and the ways organizations, like ours, can help those in need. The group then assembled 200 care kits for those experiencing homelessness in our community. These ‘bags of care’ contained critical items such as a resource flyer, sanitizer, toothbrushes, toothpaste, socks, and much more. The Carney Cares committee funded the majority of the items in the bags, and our staff stepped up supplementing donations to help the cause. Our employees will offer these bags to those in need, as well as donate to the Union Gospel Mission and/or Mary’s Place. We know this is a small gesture, but we care about our community.
