Carney Badley Spellman Elects Joshua Brittingham as Shareholder

SEATTLE, Wash. – Carney Badley Spellman, PS has elected Joshua Brittingham as a Shareholder, effective January 1, 2026. Brittingham serves as Chair of the firm’s Labor and Employment Group, where he leads a team of attorneys and advises employers on complex workplace and labor matters.

Brittingham is regularly called on to guide employers through high-stakes labor and employment challenges, including complex litigation, class actions, and sensitive labor relations matters. His practice spans employment disputes in state and federal courts, proceedings before administrative agencies, and labor negotiations involving collective bargaining, arbitrations, union organizing campaigns, and matters before the National Labor Relations Board. He is also a trusted advisor to employers and counsels on risk management and the use of effective workplace policies and practices.

Prior to joining Carney Badley Spellman, Brittingham litigated commercial, real estate, and employment disputes and advised clients on corporate and transactional matters. He also brings experience from earlier roles as a project manager and business analyst in the financial services industry.
