Carney Badley Spellman Congratulates Sidney Tribe on New Leadership Roles

Posted:

We’re proud to congratulate Sidney Tribe on her election for two important leadership positions in the Washington legal community: President of the Board of Trustees, King County Bar Association, and Co-President of the Washington Appellate Lawyers Association. Both roles reflect Sidney’s dedication to the legal profession and her deep involvement in the appellate bar.

Sidney’s practice is focused entirely on civil appeals and litigation support; a highly specialized area she has devoted her career to since 2005. Appeals can be unfamiliar territory, and Sidney helps clients navigate the process with clear, candid, and practical guidance. She’s known for her thoughtful legal analysis, strong writing, and confident presence in appellate oral argument.

Sidney began her career clerking for the Honorable William Baker at the Washington State Court of Appeals, where she developed a lasting appreciation for the appellate process. Since then, she’s worked at a respected appellate boutique, ultimately becoming a partner, and has earned recognition as a Washington “Super Lawyer.” She also shares her knowledge each year as a faculty member at the Pincus Professional Education Advanced Appellate Advocacy CLE.

We’re pleased to celebrate these achievements with Sidney and are lucky to have her on our team.
