Renee Li is an attorney in the firm’s Business Practice Group, where she advises clients on mergers and acquisitions, business formation, corporate governance, financing, and commercial transactions. She primarily works with business owners and investors, bringing a practical, business-minded approach to help clients navigate complex legal issues with solutions tailored to their strategic goals and priorities.
Before joining Carney Badley Spellman, Renee served as in-house counsel for a Seattle health-tech startup and gained experience in capital markets while working at an international law firm. During law school, she completed an externship with the Office of the General Counsel at the Washington State Department of Financial Institutions. Renee is fluent in Mandarin Chinese.
